How many configurations does the Mick actually have?
If you count each component in each location on the cart or with some components removed in each location there are multiple configurations. With every component switching locations or completely removed, there are more than the 28 configuration images we have listed on our product configuration page. Take a look!
How much weight can really be moved with the Mick?
Designing the cart was the first step. Completing the science and math for the weight disbursement was the most important part of making the Mick what it is. After careful consideration of the weight ratio of the wheels, chassis etc, we have decided that the recommended weight limit for the Mick cart is 1000 lbs. (454 kg)
How does the Mick have 0˚ turn radius?
The Mick’s unique, patent pending chassis rests on (6)six heavy duty solid wheels. The chassis is designed with the middle wheels slightly lowered giving the Mick the ability to be tilted back or forth even with a full payload to perform a 0˚ radius.
Is there anything the Mick can’t move or carry?
With the Mick’s multiple configurations, it can move a large variety of items with a multitude of dimensions and weights. As long as the payload doesn’t exceed 1000 lbs. (454 kg) or the item is too large to be placed on the Mick becoming unstable or falling off, many different things can be moved with it. Remember safety comes first though whenever you are moving anything. Make sure that if applicable, that object(s) being moved are fastened down with (string, rope, clamps, bungee cords, strapping, shock cords, etc.) allowing them to be further secured to reduce or eliminate load shifting.
Are there any safety requirements when using the Mick?
Like any product, the Mick has warning and cautions set in place to keep the operator safe. Number one, never overload the cart with more weight that is recommended by us, the manufacturer. DO NOT load the Mick cart with more than 1000 lbs. (454 kg). Secondly, never load unproportional weight on to the cart. The center point of the cart should always be used as the location where you place the bulk of the weight of the item you are carrying/moving for equal weight disbursement. See the weight distribution images at the bottom of our “About Us” page for a visual representation of where to place items being carried. Also, never put the majority of the weight on the item you are moving on the side rails. The side rails are used primarily as an anti-tipping mechanism and should not be used to carry anything extremely heavy on their own.
